Amanda: Smoking While Pregnant Can Harm Your Baby

A former smoker’s story

Amanda grew up in a family of smokers and picked up her first cigarette in the 5th grade. Later, when she was in college and learned she was pregnant, Amanda tried to quit, but her addiction to cigarettes was too strong. Amanda was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Her baby was born 2 months early and weighed just 3 pounds. Amanda hopes that telling her story will inspire other mothers to quit smoking for good.
